More info: Details of the Munro Carn Liath (Beinn a’ Ghlo) can be seen by visiting https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/perthshire/beinn-a-ghlo.shtml Please note that Carn Liath is the lowest and most accessible Munro in the Beinn a’Ghlo range and the hill that we have earmarked for the challenge. Two further Munros exist in this range: Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain and Carn nan Gabhar, which very fit and intrepid Munroists can combine with Carn Liath to give a long hill day of 8 – 10 hrs, covering a distance of 13.75 mls.
